Interviewed by Marlene Jäger for Planes, Trains, and Books (Readable in English & German!)

A while back, Marlene Jäger came through Seattle on her "literary tour of North America." I enjoyed meeting her and answering her questions about life as a poet, poetry-comic maker, bookstore employee, and editor, which she has now published on Planes, Trains, and Books.

Perhaps the coolest aspect of our exchange (to me, at least), is that she is multi-lingual and translated the whole thing into German! You can read her questions and my answers in English here or in German here.

I also really love her literary portrait of Seattle—a remarkably comprehensive and astute description, considering the brevity of her trip!
