Last Friday, I had the immense pleasure of attending Claudia Rankine's SAL lecture.
As if that wasn't awesome enough, I also got to take a picture with her (!!!) and publish this response on the Seattle Arts and Lectures blog. Doodles happened. Things got collage-y.
I owe so much to Claudia Rankine, Citizen, The Racial Imaginary anthology, her interviews, and the myriad conversations, both online and in person, her work has inspired.
